What a heated dog bowl actually does
A heated dog bowl uses a low-wattage element under the basin that keeps water above freezing, up to about 40 °C max, thermostat-controlled. Ours runs at 35W and heats only when needed, not continuously.
The result is liquid water through the full winter, without overheating, without warming the water to an unnatural temperature, and without large electricity bills.
- Thermostatic control — heats only when needed
- 35W max draw, typically 5–10W over a winter day
- Chew-resistant, steel-armored cord (1.8 m)
- CE certified to European safety standards
- Designed for sub-zero outdoor winter conditions
