Norway winters regularly bring long stretches of sub-zero weather, especially inland and in the north. An unprotected outdoor water bowl can freeze solid in under an hour in those conditions. Our bowl uses a thermostat-controlled heater that keeps water above freezing, up to about 40 °C max, and only draws power when it's actually needed. Designed in Estonia for outdoor winter use, with cold-weather performance down to −20°C.
